How have I gotten to this position on social media? Many of you started following me when you were watching my struggle with the town of Gilbert trying to take my land for free. I was blown away by the copious amount of support I received. After firing my attorney I felt like I was back in control. I had been jerked around for over a year and a half, being told that I was going to be forced to donate $360,000+ worth of land. My mind was blown that the government could do this. It has catapulted me into being more involved in the process than I ever expected. I plan to work with legislators to stop this from happening to other individuals. “Right of way” dedications are a sinister way for the government to legally take your property without any compensation. I’m not talking eminent domain, with eminent domain you do receive compensation…not with ROWs. This has got to stop. Thank you to everyone for following my journey.
