» "The evenings are meant for deep reflection." • Avijeet Das I like spending some evenings with calm music, a cup of tea, perhaps a good book or scripture, and just have a time to reflect, watching the sun set. However, I'm not able to do this enough. Why don't I make time for this more often? Why do I choose to forgo these quiet moments of peace and personal growth for what the world has to offer? Do I fear I'll miss out, and that subconsciously I know these calm evenings can always be had? Both give me joy - I can't discredit the richness of being in community - though this is just a word for myself about making space for those calm evenings too.

» Sixty percent of people in Zambia live below the poverty line and 42% are considered to be extremely poor. Many of these extremely poor villages have homes no larger than the size of a personal office. These homes have families ranging in size of 10-15 people, mostly children.
