Sometimes, I like to pretend I'm badass by going outside in negative temps and climbing mountains with a load of camera gear. Dealing with the temps and hauling the gear was so worth it for the breathtaking view once we got to the top. 📸 to @kerrickjames5
Sunset was looking a little grey last night, and then, as the sun dipped below the horizon of the fjord, this happened. I sat and watched the colors dance for a good 30 minutes into twilight. Saguenay is magical.
This. I suddenly understand the love of winter sports. It's negative temps, wind is howling, snowstorm blew through earlier, hike down in the dark, and yet every moment of out hike in to the Valley of Phantoms was absolutely breath taking. Around every corner we stopped to marvel at the views. We warmed ourselves in a cozy warming hut and enjoyed cookies before bundling up and making our way back to our cabin for a fondue dinner. Yeah, I could learn to love winter.

Spent the morning snowmobiling before stopping in on of the heated tents for lunch over the winter pop up city on ice in Roberval.

Dreaming of blue skies for days... Spent 2 weeks in Cuba a few months back, and it wasn't even close to enough time to really explore the country. I came home curious and happy for the minimal Internet time looking forward to sorting images and digesting my experiance there.
