Happy #InternationalWomensDay I'll mention this woman, imagine the spirit of Maude from Harold and Maude, and some solid grounded wisdom like Annie Lennox. She saved my spirit and psyche and I hope to be her when I grow up. A few years ago she lobbied for the State of New Mexico against what the giant social worker lobbyists did not want -- to legally also have certified Marriage and Family Therapists in schools to help kids and teens through their hardships ... Just her, a lobbyist, a nod from Bill Richardson and a handful of other people. And WON! She has devoted her psychotherapy experience to the community and left her mark in school districts. So proud of her she is bodhisattva, in my eyes, lighthearted, a nerd, funny and a quintessential badass. Here's to all women in the world staying strong, true, and making a difference.
