#BobaFett's first public appearance was at the San Anselmo Community Fair and Parade on September 24, 1978. The costume was worn by Duwayne Dunham, who also wore the all-white prototype armor. This photo was recently shared by the official #StarWars website in an exclusive interview with Dunham. Note the "eye" marks on the helmet above the visor, which were part of the pre-production look, but eventually removed for the final character.

  • zebrabuseI thought they considered those the "ears"... The eyes were the original feature and lower on the helmet. You can even see the washed out area where they once were
  • bobafettfanclub@zebrabuse Good observation!
  • zebrabuseIt's probably debatable though. I often hear them referred to as ears. I suppose the original PP1 eyes were "eagle eyes" and the latter "final"? Anyway, love this feed! Keep up the great info.
  • bobafettfanclub@zebrabuse, never heard the "ears" reference, but they've definitely been called "Jaig eyes."
  • zebrabuseDefinitely!
