I love the @npr #fakememory project, mostly because every Mother's Day I tell someone how I was nearly 25 before I realized every 'memory' I have of my Mom is actually from the photographs I had stared at for years. Here I am 2 and sitting with my Mom & G'ma in the bar area of our kitchen (oh, the 70's!) about 3 years before she died. Part of me still thinks I remember this moment, but in truth I have zero memories of her that are not posed and still.
