The @LAKings did well to acquire sniper Marian Gaborik from the Columbus Blue Jackets will giving up very little in return. Even if Gaborik is just a rental and is not re-signed for next season and beyond, it's still a pretty good deal for the Kings.

But that deal is likely to be overshadowed, perhaps even as soon as next season, by the "secondary" deal the Kings made on March 5, when they acquired defenseman Brayden McNabb from the Buffalo Sabres.
