  • detroitlionsnflChris Houston (by @champ_23) on Instagram: "Got presented the team defensive game ball! #blessing"

  • bizzairGood game for Chris. But still didn't deserve defensive ball of the game. Only had a good game when compared to last game lol... Glover Quinn and Delmas make a great secondary but our cornerbacks are letting huge plays go this year. All the +40 yd plays are coming from break and outside routes, which is all corner back.
  • sbehuniak09@posterent do you watch the games? Houston had a shutdown day and was by far our best corner last season and will be again. He had a couple bad games. You're a fool
  • sbehuniak09@bizzair Houston did actually have s very good game. Delmas and Quin were each completely responsible for one of the 50+ yard TDs yesterday. Quin missed two tackles on Williams and Delmas went for the ball and missed on the long one for Dez.
  • posterentWe're crazy @sbehuniak09 I watch every game, bro!! Chris is trash..he only had 1 pass defense that's all! He's a bomb no Terry Fair or Bre Bly that's for sure! And I know every corner gets burnt..I'm aware of that but if u watch Lion football u'd see and agree Chris covers receivers and never play the ball that's why he has NO Interceptions...how does Levy has the most on our team? We need a phyiscal corner that plays the ball! #trueLionzFan
  • posterentExactly @thakidd_86
  • sbehuniak09@posterent Houston graded out as a top 20 CB each of the last two years. Picks are not all that important. If he prevents a wr from getting open consistently that's better than gambling all the time and coming up with a few more picks but getting burned more often. Look at Janoris Jenkins, he creates a bunch of turnovers but he also gets torched constantly.
  • yoshi_barberAnother thing I never see them do often is swipe at the ball! Try to rip that bitch out and cause some damn fumbles.....they just get the tackle. Defensive coordinator need to step it up!
  • posterentOk well we need a top 10 corner not a top 20 then because he doesn't prevent anything!! What Lion's game do you watch??..lol I've been watching that guys since we got him from Atlanta...and if you watch how he plays D..its terrible! That's why teams pick on him and then everytime he misses a play he hops up and do that stupid ass hand clap!..lol Bottom line if he's supposed to be our #1 corner he needs to play that way...hell I'd take a DeAngelo Hall or we should've gotten Jonathan Joseph when he was a free agent @sbehuniak09
  • sbehuniak09You guys have these crazy expectations. Has Houston been bad a few games this season? Yes. Would most teams still love to start him? Also yes. Idk if you haven't noticed but there haven't been a lot of shutdown corners available in free agency because we've signed about half of them at one point or another. Houston is a well above average corner and if we had another one the secondary would vastly improve. @posterent @thakidd_86
  • yoshi_barberMaaan we got to play them punk ass, fagot ass, hoe ass Packers twice a year! C. Houston and that secondary aint cuttin it! Bottom line
  • sbehuniak09Lol a couple is two. A few is 3-4. Semantics aside, Houston is not the problem. Slay, Mathis, and Bently have all been bad this season. I would love to have a shutdown corner like Revis or Sherman but there are only about 5 of them in the league. We're not going to get one so we should be more concerned with getting another solid corner next to Houston. You don't have to believe me but I urge you to look at ProFootballFocus or any number of more reputable sources than you saying he sucks. @posterent
  • antknee12Houston's been ballin bro. They play a lot of cover 2 and that's were the mistakes have come. Just small breakdowns with communication. Other than that this defense has kept us in all these games.
  • sbehuniak09@posterent there's so much you could learn. Finnegan had been the very worst cb in the league this season. He's allowing a perfect qb rating so far. Avril was a bottom 5 de last year and more money than we could afford. You need to learn to look beyond the stats.
  • misterweclay@posterent 15 years of following detroit and you can't even remember that the lions beat the rams last year.
  • ycl623How much???
  • strong_elite@posterent that is 100% true man but I don't completely agree, our defense is a great up front defense, top 10-15 in the NFL we have fairly suh and Anzah, we can stop run game no problem, but we absolutely need a better more physical secondary, but our secondary is okay with the new rookie and rashean Mathis, even know he is old he can hold his own against top receivers. But this guy should not have reciever the game ball.
  • posterentAnd @misterweclay we lost so many games that we shouldn't have I guess I lost track...lol but Yup 15 yrs n counting..
  • kpmulder51Well done Chris. F that guy↑
  • posterentNegative Chris you need to do better, especially next week against Chicago and double fuck that guy ^^^^
  • hailepolisanoI want that
