Funeral of Richard Rohloff, Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Photo by @peteressick. What to do with all that beetle kill wood in the American West? Luc Nadeau started Nature's Caskets and offers a more reasonably priced and green alternative to the traditional box with toxic stains and exotic woods. The casket also offered this photographer some symbolism for a story on our dying pine forests. Thanks to Rosalyn Rohloff for allowing me to photograph the service of her brother who seemed like a good person who died too young.
