#dailyhbpierphoto - what is all that yellow crud in the water? Some event where they litter thousands of plastic ducks into the water, many of which will be joining the Texas-sized trash island floating in the Pacific.

  • mickeywickeyThey use biodegradable ducks don't trip
  • brooke.murphyBiodegradable plastic still affects the hormonal system of animals when ingested. And such chemicals do not disappear over time. Plankton will probably eat the ducks 'broken down particles' which in turn will be eaten and so on ad so forth and in the end a plethora of animals are going to be affected by just one duck. How many ducks are there in the photo?
