Years ago when I was barely 20 I took a picture here while hikining down this ridge in the autumn of some similar sort of rolling mountain light and shadow. I shot it with that old Ilford black and white film that was processed in standard C41 color film processing machines. It was badly under-exposed and failed to capture the moment. I was happy to be back there with my iPhone and Canon 60D yesterday when that late mountain light struck once more, and try again.
