the clearing

My submission for the @instagram #whpumbrellas :)
It was an adventure that would need patients, and determination to see the light. I explored the meadow with my umbrella straight in front of me, do to the sideways rain, while carrying all my equipment. I almost called it quits since I didn't want to risk my equipment becoming damaged. I set up my umbrella on the ground and huddled under it to put my body and lens together. With optimism and my love for nature I stayed and sat under my umbrella for thirty minutes. I took a photo of a runner only to achieve water all over my lens. Then, I witnessed something, a change in nature right before my eyes. It was as if I was in the eye of the storm. I set up my tripod as fast as humanly possible, set my focus, put a 10 sec timer on, and ran while landing a single heel click; I was profoundly excited. It was only 15 minutes that her sun would come out to grace my existence. I found myself sitting, watching a painting move across the skyline and I wished I wasn't the only one spectating these moments.
