It was so calming to be out in the farm. Unlike the slums, there was space, clear air, beautiful homes, fresh food and clean water.
The main reason people leave their farms is because of crop failure and ensuing starvation. World Vision is helping these farmers and villages to secure their food supply through sustainable, organic practices. The village now has rice, pulses and vegetables year round. Villages now have a choice whether they stay or head into the cities. #worldvision #documentary #india

  • dxbchrisLove the series. One if the key contributing factors to crop failure is near forced adoption of GMO crops that are reliant on specific pesticides and fertilisers. Organic is now India's only hope. Google Monsanto and India shocking stuff
