Nike and Travis Scott are rumoured to be working on a special-edition Nike Air Zoom Mercurial.
The release would mark the first time the two have worked together on a performance-wear product.
According to reports, no technological updates will be made, but the collaboration comes with a new design — working similarly to OFF-WHITE’s Mercurial Vapor XII 360 back in 2018.
After working on everything from Air Forces to Jordans, Travis Scott’s next on-foot release with the Swoosh is set to see him finally enter the beautiful game.
Early leaks suggest the boots will include two new colourways, with a two-tone upper arriving in ‘Black/Silver’ and ‘Black/Rose Gold’. Alongside the usual ‘Air Zoom’ branding, the boots will feature Travis’ signature Cactus Jack motifs and the iconic reverse swoosh.
We’ve all seen ballers wear customs inspired by previous collaborations, but this release makes things official. And with Vinícius Jr fronting a Cactus Jack campaign last year, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Seleção star lace up in these before the end of the season.
