What a special day it was!
Today, on my 35th birthday, I had the pleasure to attend the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Bundesliga and I was awarded the "Heroes of 60 years of the Bundesliga" ("Helden 60 Jarhe Bundesliga"). It is a great privilege to be considered among legends like Wolfgang Overath, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Matthias Sammer, Felix Magath, Lothar Matthäus and Thomas Müller, and even more so to be the only foreigner in this group. Thank you very much for this award. Playing in the Bundesliga will always be a big part of my life.
