So much of who I am today, is because of Annie. I learned so much from her…That life is worth living! Adventure and good days can come when you least expect it! Being brave and saying “yes” is almost always worth it! But maybe most importantly… that we live in a world with GOOD people! So much we see on the internet and around us each day is hate, people pitted against each other and our instincts are to judge or shelter yourself/your heart from hurt. But HERE… because of ANNIE… we saw so so much love, people who came together to help us give this old dog one hell of a year, so many people that shared her story, spoke her name, sent her sweet gifts and well wishes. So many people…. Annie’s true personality was on the internet, in people’s social media feed, and even on the news. She gave us her all… and I can’t help but think as she looked at me with her head in my lap last night that she was telling me “see I told you I could hang on for a year”! Yesterday afternoon she was with all the people that loved her. she was celebrated. she greeted every dog that came to her party and then her body decided she was done. Lisa, @thepawerfulrescue and I could not have given her all that she had this year. It was because of each of YOU! We are so so thankful for the millions of people who cared and loved our Annie girl! I would love to honor Annie in a couple of ways. … STAY TUNED BUT!!!!! The BEST way to honor Annie is to foster or adopt a senior dog. Trust me… you won’t regret it. If you made it this far, THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I have a handful of extra Annie stickers from her party yesterday that I would love to mail to some Annie Fans. DM me your address and I will randomly send some out, but only ask that you stick it somewhere and post about it so we can continue to share Annie and her story to the world.
