Announcing the next Please RSVP - this is going to be the last one for a little while, but we’re going out with a bang! I’ve spent hours listening to both @vacatetheroom and @rob_lfo while writing articles about about their art, and I know feel I know and appreciate their music intimately. they’re amazingly talented and they’re taking music places you didn’t know it could go. I was delighted when they arrived at the first Please RSVP revealing that they’re both huge fans of UK bass music - we’ve been trying to get them on the line up for a while now and that time has come. Joining them the incredibly @rakhi.wav ! I spent today listening to her Rhythmic Culture mix (go check it out) and listening to her Animalia x Temporal cast mix for the 3rd time - cementing what I already knew, that Rakhi is wildly talented and one of the best selectors in Naarm right now. I have the honour of being her booking agent - trying to tee up gigs and push for someone you adore and truly believe makes what I do a treat rather than a chore. I think @ladyc4d is the frickin’ best. You may know her from the Boiler room that she absolutely crushed a few months ago or you may have seen her at the literal hundreds and thousands of festivals and gigs she’s played at over the years. She’s an expert mixer, she always brings the fun and she’s one of the the highlights wherever she plays - be that Hopkins, Sun Cycle, or wherever. What a frickin treat to have her on the lineup! No tickets needed, just rock up to Section 8 on the 6th of April. keen as all get out for this one 😈😈💜💜
