Over the past two days, I've been honored to be part of the Inaugural #CSUJuneteenth Symposium - an intentional and authentic Juneteenth recognition and celebration of Black excellence. As educators, it is our duty and obligation to uplift our students from all walks of life - and that simply cannot be separated from the active, everyday work we must do to erase the systemic barriers that hold them back. Together, we can stand up, step up and do the hard work to create a more just and equitable world.
