Pretty exciting for a few old veterans like me and @michaelzagaris to have the chance to hang out with one of the great young photographers working today @stephchambersphoto. Steph is in town from Seattle to shoot tonight’s @marchmadnessmbb game between Duke and Arkansas. The @gettysport staffer met us for breakfast at the iconic Double Play Bar and Grill in San Francisco across the street from the site of old Seal’s Stadium where the @sfgiants played in ‘58 and ‘59 before moving to Candlestick in 1960. Of course Z told many great stories including the one about Junior Gilliam of the Dodgers telling him and his brother Bruce to “Fuck off!” when they asked for his autograph after a game.
