I think it shows the concept of spreading the ideas, influence and heritage of cinema. The Oscar has always had a big influence in the world and culture in general far beyond US boundaries. I did a lot of sculpting to get the organic feel of the waves, and merge the statuette with the background, used colors that contrast with the gold of the statuette to make the composition more dynamic.”
