At 6:06pm on July 12th, this miracle named Ezekiel, which means "God strengthens," entered into this world.

As I watched him being literally pulled out of his Mommy's tummy by our OB Maestra, Dra Becky @dr.beckysingson ( watch the video on our YT channel),  I was overwhelmed by God's presence that felt like a tidal wave of love rushing over my heart and mind.

Tears, shouts of euphoria, and a hand that couldn't keep my camera steady were the results. (There still is an amazing collection of photos and videos that I put together in our YouTube channel: Life with Ardy and Miriam. See the link in my bio.)

To think that nine months ago, in November 2020,  we were still navigating parenting in a pandemic.

Our two miracle  boys kept us occupied:  Joshua, then 12, and Elijah, 1, at that time. How to bring them up with all the issues of being cooped up and locked down?

And then Miriam casually walked up to me as I was preparing a breakfast smoothie, with a pregnancy stick showing two bars. Positive. Positively pregnant. ( Si Miriam at 45 , ako at 54, that time. Now we're both a year older.)

You may say that Ezekiel came during a season when many were in grief. We grieved the death of many of our businesses, and even the death of friends from Covid.

What good could come out of a pandemic?
Lives lost, businesses closed, stories of conspiracies  and corruption filled our minds.

But I remember what Joseph said in Genesis 50:20 as he faced his brothers whom he had forgiven even if they had sold him into slavery:
"You meant evil against me,  but God used it for good."

For those who've lost loved ones, who've lost businesses,  or who've lost their minds at one point pr another during this pandemic,  remember, what the enemy has meant for evil, God can use for good.

He turns disasters into masterpieces. He turns your tears of grief into a new leaf.

And He can even turn a heart ❤ of stone into a heart of flesh.

I know that when I look at my new son's little chubby face.

Thank You Lord for this little miracle boy.

Thank You Lord for being the strength of our hearts.
