We live in a country where women wearing the hijab are prevented from working, from doing sports, from singing on a TV show, and from accompanying children on a school outing. All these polemics and laws that have a desire to ‘liberate’ women push these women to stay home and be excluded from society . I teamed up with @yard to give voice to 7 amazing women to share their experiences. Let them express themselves, again, and deconstruct what needs to be deconstructed. I wanted to show a vision of my community that we don’t usually see in the media : the vision of fulfilled, funny, creative, intelligent and beautiful women.
