I love this! I used to think because I didn’t understand something that made it incorrect, but it’s not incorrect to that person! I don’t understand a lot of lgbt+ things but I am much more willing to listen and accept! Thank you for this post!

I’d like to add that everyone is also welcome to pride as long as they’re respectful, and you can’t tell their sexuality/gender off appearance! If you see a seemingly cishet couple, don’t run them off! They could be trans, queer, nb, questioning, etc and you’d never know without asking. Make sure to keep pride a safe space to be yourself and explore!
