Meaning: Species Dysphoria is an umbrella term for everyone who doesn’t feel or doesn’t identify themselves with “human”. While some may feel particularly human this experience does vary from person to person. Specie dysphoria is a umbrella for all those who simply don’t feel like they belong in their current body and form. SDP [specie dysphoric people] might feel animal, alien/outer space, robotic/ programmed, undead (vampire, zombie, mummy), hybrid, ghost... and so goes on... Simply anyone who don’t identify as fully human!
Species dysphoria should not be confused with otherkin ore therian, nor shall it be confused with something that has to do with past life experience.
Species Sysphoria can become clinically distressing considering there’s no way of actually transitioning to said identity.
Some Species Dysphoric people might use neopronouns or it/its to feel more comfortable or euphoric in their identity. Some might prefer to use more specific terms for their species dysphoria (since Species Dysphoria is more of an umbrella term).
