Wollongong - Sydney 56km (Mel - Syd 1200km) this ride was in the tops of delicious skates. It was cruisey bike path right out of ‘The Gong’ i got those coastal views and smooth windy roads I’ve been waiting for. As hilly as it was there is nothing better than trekking a massive incline to see the post card views at the top, and to glide down. I skated through The Royal national park which was the prettiest place I’ve seen so far. I’ve never seen so many different birds in my life. There was one point where I just stood on my board for at least 15 minutes without pushing or braking on a euphoric glide down into the mountain range. Through the park I skated through stages of hot, cold, windy, and wet. Once I was at the peak of the mountain I could literally see Sydney! My stomach dropped. I couldn’t believe I got this far. I hadn’t found accomodation yet once I got to Bundeena and my phone was flat, so I went to the local RSL for a few cold ones and to hunt for accomodation. The whole town was booked out! I had 15 minutes to dash for the last ferry over to Cronulla where I found somewhere to sleep! I’m happy, healthy, and enjoying the filthy chaos that Sydney has welcomed me with. Happy Friday! Gordy is having a few days off. Next stop Central Coast. Skate on! 🙏🛹🤘🇱🇦🇦🇺🌲🦞🍻🦜🌿 #skateboard #skateboardingisfun #skateandexplore #ldp #endurance #backpacking #australia #sydney #landyachtz @landyachtz @abcaustralia @redbullau @redbullskate
