Some of you may have heard the news already, but I thought it was important to share it here as well. This afternoon, Elliot Page publicly came out as transgender. Getting to the point of being comfortable to express himself has been a journey for Elliot, and the support of fans and the people around him is important now more than ever. Although it may take some getting used to, please be compassionate and refer to Elliot by their correct name from now on. Any disrespect or intolerance toward Elliot, and LGBT people in general, commented on this page will continue to be removed. We should be accepting and happy to have someone like Elliot in the Umbrella Academy family. Elliot’s statement is posted on their Instagram and Twitter accounts.
