My friend Baron Wolman @baronwolman, the incredible artist who was the first @rollingstone Rolling Stone staff photographer in 1967, died yesterday at his home in Santa Fe, New Mexico at age 83. To me in the beginning Baron was a spring training baseball buddy who I met in Arizona in 2008 through his dear friends @jeanfruthimages and @michaelzagaris. Baron came out to Arizona for several springs and we enjoyed many Cactus League adventures together. I shot this picture of Baron with my iPhone in the @athletics dugout in Hohokam Stadium in Mesa in 2015. Baron loved the work I did with my iPhone and my Instagrams and was always so encouraging about everything I did. Please take some time to read about this legend as many stories are coming out today about him. Baron was a true renaissance man who did everything from working as a Cold War spy to flying his own plane. I will forever be grateful for Baron’s friendship. Peace and Love Baron. #ripbaronwolman
