Of course, keep a toaster close by for those who really want to toast their bagels, but no need to toast them before you put them on the board. We like to slice the bagels in half or even fourths so we can enjoy several different bagel creations. From a plain bagel with plain cream cheese to an everything bagel with herbed cream cheese, sliced tomato, smoked salmon, capers and a squeeze of lemon, the options are exciting and endless.
