The weirdness of 2020 continued today in Santa Clara where I was assigned to shoot the @49ers and @azcardinals at @levisstadium in an empty stadium with no fans with no photographers allowed on the field. It’s been an extra nutty week with all the fires and dark, smoky skies and today was no exception. I was in a shitty, sad, depressed mood when I parked my car in the empty parking lot this morning. I really wished I could go home and go back to bed. Fortunately once I got inside I was able to spend time with two amazing, very old friends @michaelzagaris and @scotteeclarke. I go back a long, long way with these two guys and we always laugh so much when we get together. Shooting some pregame with them from the seats in the south end zone and having Z shoot this selfie of us with his iPhone - YES Z has a very strong selfie game - made my mood much better for the game. The game was a clunker for great pictures and the Cardinals outplayed the 49ers inside the quiet stadium. What was extra strange was after the game I simply packed up my shit and got in my car and drove home. No traffic! Thanks to Scotty and Z for all the fun.
