I have covered probably 50 Opening Days since I started shooting in the 80’s but tonight’s July 24, 2020 #openingnight game at the @ringcentralcoli between the @angels and @athletics was definitely the strangest one and it ain’t even close. I was happy to have a fun and different position to shoot from as the cardboard fans made some room for me. We got to see some nutty history with the first #MLB game decided under the newfangled extra innings rules. Quite frankly after all the testing snafus and other issues I am shocked they made it this far and have started to play.
