I made it back to Disneyland property and spent the afternoon at Downtown Disney with Hayden 🤗 It was my first visit since the end of February. It felt so good to be back and experience a little Disney magic! ✨ We enjoyed some of our favorite Downtown Disney treats and shopped till we dropped. Of course we couldn’t leave before checking out the empty park gates and esplanade 🥺 . Lunch was @blacktapanaheim All-American Cheeseburger with Bacon and Onions Rings for me, Kid's Grilled Cheese and Fries for Hayden. For dessert we shared a Brooklyn Blackout CrazyShake 🍔🍟 . Ralph Brennan's @rbjazzkitchen happened to re-open yesterday so we stopped into Jazz Kitchen Express for Beignets 🍰 . One final treat before heading home, a scoop of Birthday Cake & Blackberries ice cream from @saltandstraw 🍦😋 . 📝What to expect when visiting the Downtown Disney District: . Downtown Disney District hours will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday-Sunday (through the end of August); . Complimentary Parking at the Simba Lot (1183 W Katella Ave, located next door to Paradise Pier Hotel); . Temperature screenings prior to entry. Entry to the Downtown Disney District may occasionally be paused due to limited capacity; . Face coverings are required for guests ages 2 and older. Speaking of masks, don't forget to pick up some Disney masks from World of Disney or find them on @shopdisney. They are $6 each, AP discount does NOT apply; . Hand-washing stations and hand sanitizers located throughout the District; . Physical distancing measures, including physically-distanced queues and seating throughout the district; . Dining spots that are operating have ample shaded seating for outdoor dining; . Guests must be stationary to eat or drink since it requires removing your masks; .
