Gaylord Perry, in statuesque form, tosses a nasty spitter this morning at an opposing hitter in front of the ballpark in San Francisco. The yard is full of @sfgiants players trying to shake off the cobwebs from the pandemic to play something that resembles baseball in sixteen days. Summer camp my ass. More like a bunch of guys trying to keep one step ahead of the virus and survive the Mickey Mouse operation #MLB is doing trying to figure out testing and shipping. Old photographers like me were great at shipping anyway we had to via plane etc. otherwise @stevefine would kick my ass. Clean it up MLB and protect the players. I bet the author of “Me and the Spitter” would have something to say about all of this back in his day.
