“Ditmas Park Karen” aka Irina Manta It has been brought to Equality for Flatbush : E4F that a white gentrifier has created a Facebook group called “Peaceful Ditmas Park” with the intent to “crackdown” on “noise” of fireworks and music. Clearly she is brand new to #Flatbush and hostile to the majority Black and Brown migrant community that she has invaded. This person is a “law professor” who obviously is excited to call the cops and Black and Brown people for “annoyances” and to use their law background to try to intimidate our community. To Ditmas Park Karen, setting off fireworks and playing music is threatening and violent, while calling the police is somehow "Peaceful." We are calling on #BlackLivesMatter groups across NYC and around country to shut down this and ANY FB pages that harbor racists and call for police violence against Black and Brown people. Enough is Enough! E4F has rapidly responded to several cases of police brutality because of white gentrifiers calling the police on Black and Brown people simply for living their lives.
