Incredibly exciting day as the early batch of “Letters to 87” arrived at @cameronbooks in Petaluma this morning. Of course I had to drive up there and grab a few copies as the awesome folks in the office were busy packing up copies of the book to be sent out to reviewers and VIPs, as well as family and close friends of Dwight Clark. It was DC’s dream to collect letters from fans telling him where they were when he made The Catch, and publish them in a book. That day has come thanks to @maiocconbcs who made this all possible. @michaelzagaris contributed his incredible photographs of his dear friend DC, and @foodstorey56 contributed his iconic image of The Catch for the cover. A few of my pictures from the letter reading in Montana are also included. Publisher @chrisgruener did an amazing job of pulling this project together, and wait till you see the design work by the mad scientist Iain Morris. Finally, thanks to @kirkrgaucho for being the calm and cool presence behind the scenes to hold it all together.
