Mikyou, a father of two from Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture, in Japan, has been sharing his gorgeous sashimi creations, fashioned out of slices of raw fish, on his Instagram. Mikyou told BuzzFeed News he is a “total amateur” with no restaurant experience and learned how to arrange and prepare fish by watching YouTube videos and practicing. He said he creates the dishes in his own kitchen as meals to enjoy with his family. “I used to enjoy watching my younger son get embarrassed and upset when I would create something too pretty,” he said. “But at this point, they hardly react to my creations. They just quietly eat them up.” Follow @buzzfeednews_jp for more 🇯🇵 content 🍣😍 (📷: @mikyoui00, 📝: @kassy) Link in bio for more 👆 - #sashimi #tuna #salmon #fish #sushi #sushilovers #sushitime #art #artist #artistsoninstagram #food #foodie #foodporn #instafood #foodlover #foodstagram #instafoodie #foodart #foodstyling #foodstylist #刺身 #すし #寿司 #鮨 #japanese #japanesefood #japanesecuisine #matsuyama #ehime #japan
