⚠️ TMI post for some but I kicked a UTI naturally this week and am sharing my strategy because 1) I’m so happy that it worked 2) anyone who’s had one knows you want to alleviate symptoms ASAP & while they are more common in pregnancy & women, men can get them too! So save this post so you have it on hand to start as soon as you feel the first sign of one. What I did each day for 3 days (a combination of recos from multiple people): drank a glass of water with 4 drops of @doterra on guard oil, had one cran capsule (500mg of pure cran, bought at @wholefoods - you can also get a combo of cran + d-mannose which is more effective but i wasn’t sure in my moment of panic if d-mannose was safe for pregnancy, it looks like it is though for a temporary treatment), 1-2 tsp. of apple cider vinegar mixed with however much water you need to get it down 2x/day, coconut oil topically on the area post shower, drank .5 cup pure cran juice diluted with .5 cup water 2x/day, increased my @hyperbiotics dosage from 1 to 2/day, made sure to have my celery juice and had more than I usually do. OK that seems like a lot but I will try anything to avoid meds. I was also recommended to add 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar to a low filled bath with warm water...didn’t end up doing this but something else to try if your symptoms are bad.
