Soo as many of you know I have been making a quilt for my nephew. Quilting takes a LOT of ironing, and yesterday whilst ironing I managed to burn some interfacing onto my brand new iron! I tried to scrub it off lol made ZERO difference. Also I was wayyyyyy too lazy to get my hands wet or make potions and lotions and solutions etc. When I suddenly remembered this hack I was like it can't hurt to try! .

So heres what you need - one paracetamol and a wet cloth that you have squeezed the water out of. Turn your iron on and set it to the highest setting. Grab a paracetamol and being REALLY CAREFUL not to burn yourself gently rub the tablet onto the iron plate. You'll see the burnt parts coming away, carefully wipe away with the cloth and repeat if necessary. After it is clean press the steam button a few times just incase any burnt bits got into the holes. And voila! Iron is brand spanking new! .
