Yesterday, when I saw one of my many wonderful surgeons, she mentioned looking forward to seeing my smile post op. I’ve heard that a lot lately, and I’ve never really thought of myself as smiley or overly happy. But I think I am.

I’m grateful for today’s technology, my power of persistence, my family and friends (YOU), and most of all ME.
