Last night we celebrated the completion of my book edits with some traditional French food and wine at a cafe in the neighborhood just a few blocks from this corner — would you look at that light at 9:30PM. It’s like that every single night. And then I slept for over 12 hours. I could have slept 12 more but, as life would have it, France is in the semi-finals of the World Cup while I’m here. Life must be seized. 🇫🇷⚽️
