I was invited to the town of Viterbo, Italy to paint a mural of Water the Flowers. It’s been a relief to spend the past two weeks in a country who’s people are inherently friendly and welcoming. I can’t imagine a better place to give this work a permanent public residence than here. Thank you Maria Elena for organizing this and for letting my work be a part of your dialogue. And thank you to everyone who’s shown me kindness and given me friendship during these travels, it’s been enlightening. If you’re ever travellig through Italy and happen to be in Rome, Viterbo is just an hour away and is one of the most incredible towns I’ve ever stayed in. You can find my mural at the Istituto Orioli.
