Recently went on a binge of F&F, 1 through 8. Episode 5 is when the cringe starts. From Vin's profound & witty interventions, to Johnson's super human GI Joe moves & corny one liners. The drop is hard to deny. Anyone denying is just a kid who likes Avengers movies, or someone who came into the francize cause they are fans of The Rock. Now, to be sincere, I the original Fast & Furious is the only one that's going to be remembered, the vibe in that one is timeless. A close second is Tokyo Drift.
