- unmigrationDisplaced women smile as they wear a Little Sun solar lamp in Ethiopia´ Somali Region. Of the 450,000+ individuals displaced by El Nino over the past two years, 50% are female. Women are especially vulnerable in camps, both for health and safety reasons. The absence of lighting was identified as primary security issue by 99% of all displacement sites in the region.
