• noaaclimateIt's #CowAppreciationDay! Cows are a big source of methane across the world.  With a piece of tubing attached to a fishing pole (attached to a pump), a researcher attempts to capture the methane gas belched from a #cow in Zimbabwe.
  The sample is part of researcher Euan Nisbet's efforts to catalog the carbon-13 isotope signatures of all different types of methane from tropical sources.
