Meet Nike! Nike is a Babson MBA student who will be working with #LuckyIronFish in India this summer. Read on for Nike’s #teamspotlight... 🐟 Role at Lucky Iron Fish? 🐟 I will be working as Summer Intern for Lucky Iron Fish in India. 🐟 What are you looking forward to working on this summer? 🐟 I am looking forward to helping Lucky Iron Fish with their operations in India, doing market research, and meeting with partners and NGOs. It will be an amazing experience because this is my first time go to India, I always love to meet with new people, explore the culture, the cities, the foods, etc. because it will give me a deeper sense to do my work, and give me more insight about the Indian market while having all those fun experiences. 🐟 What has drawn you to work with Lucky Iron Fish? 🐟 After I heard about Lucky Iron Fish’s internship opportunity, I went to see Emily from the Lewis Institute from Babson. She told me about Lucky Iron Fish, the story, values and how amazing Gavin is. She got me when she said "Lucky Iron Fish is one of many examples of enterprise that is doing business while doing good." As an entrepreneur working with the same values, I just feel it is a good match for me. 🐟 Why do you use Lucky Iron Fish? 🐟 I bought the Fish and gave it to my family in Indonesia, because we just had 2 additional members into our family after my aunties gave birth to my cousins. She told me that her doctor suggested she get iron supplements for the baby and herself. When I told her about Lucky Iron Fish, she couldn't be happier because now she doesn't have to worry about iron deficiency for her family. 🐟 What is your favourite way to cook with your Fish? 🐟 In Indonesia my family eats rice every meal of the day (except for the newborn). My aunt cooks rice and soup with the Fish, or when boiling water for drinking (in many villages in Indonesia, they still boil water from their own well to drink and cook).
