This looks like a regular picture, but it is actually an important moment from my Thursday. I was feeling exhausted and down. I was on my way to my mom's house to meet her for a walk before picking up the kids from school. I was literally 2 mins from my mom's house and was about to turn left when I saw an older woman struggling with four bags she was carrying herself. She kept dropping them as she was walking. I made a quick decision and turned right instead of left. I pulled over and got out. I had a moments hesitation when in the back of my head I heard a warning about strangers. I put it aside and asked the lady if she needed some help. She really did. So I put the four bags and her purse in the trunk, cleared my passenger seat and gave her a ride to the shelter. It was only a few minutes drive but it would have been a long & difficult walk for her. I parked, got her bags and helped her carry them inside. She gave me a hug and thanked me. I left feeling much different than I had 5 minutes before. I'm sharing this story because I have been inspired countless times by others and I hope I can do the same. Doing one small thing can mean so much for someone else. . . . . . . . . . . . . . #payitforward #gooddeeds #helpingothers #yvr #makeadifference #inspired #inspire #stop #coquitlam #stopping #helping #thelittlethings #happiness #momblogger #thewritebalance
