Carrot Cake Smoothie coming in strong for day 5 of my elimination cleanse! πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ•ΊπŸΌπŸ•ΊπŸΌ A lotttt of you guys DM about this recipe when I showed it in my stories yesterday, so here it is! Not all smoothies have to be fruit based and this is such a delicious example of that πŸ‘ŒπŸ»I'm usually all over the fruit smoothie combos but it's actually really nice to switch it up and experiment with veggies that are naturally sweet, yet incredibly nourishing. I also wanted to let you know that I first steam then freeze the veggies before I blend them. This way it's much easier on your digestive system πŸ‘ŒπŸ»Ok here's the recipe, let me know how you like it! β˜€οΈβ˜€οΈ 1/2 cup hemp milk (or any)
1/2 cup water
small handful of both carrots and sweet potatoes
vanilla protein powder (I'm using @cleanprogram but use any you'd like!)
1 tablespoon tahini (optional, I'm using @soomfoods )
1 tablespoon coconut butter (optional, I love @artisanaorganics)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
pinch of cardamon and clove powder 
1 teaspoon maca powder (great for energy)
Blend and enjoy! I also topped it with coconut yogurt and more tahini and coconut flakes πŸŽ‰
*Also, I've added in a bunch of optional goodies because I'm substituting this smoothie as a full meal, so I'm pumping it up with more healthy fats and protein but feel free to leave those out or add in whatever you'd like 😊❀️
