Truth #17: God is faithful, He will do it.
•
The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:24 NIV
•
I did not want to tell my husband. I understood all of the reasons I should, but panic alarms would go off inside of me every time I thought about it. I had all kinds of excuses and fears, and even wrote myself a reminder in my journal.

9/26/2012 No. The Answer is No.
Dear M,

If ever again you contemplate letting him in - don't.

You can't trust him.

Reread as needed.

Just trying to protect you,

That Voice.
•
The next day I told my counselor I had decided I wouldn’t tell him. What if he didn’t believe me? What if he blamed me? What if he stops loving me?
•
She reminded me that I have patterns of testing people to determine if they can be trustworthy. She said, "This is an issue of trust. It all boils down to how big you think God really is."
•
I replied, “With everything else - God is HUGE. With this... I’ve got this!!”
•
She encouraged me to allow faith (and not the voices in my head) to make the decision about sharing.
•
She said, "Pray. Trust Him. He will open the door and then you can step into that light of FREEDOM and out of the darkness of lies.
•
God joined you together but this huge lie is keeping you from being fully joined. It doesn't have to be this week...just pray. God will prepare him - and He will prepare you. He will open the door.
•
You believe God is big and can do it?
•
Let Him."
•
May God himself, the God who makes everything holy and whole, make you holy and whole, put you together—spirit, soul, and body—and keep you fit for the coming of our Master, Jesus Christ. The One who called you is completely dependable. If he said it, he’ll do it!
