handsatworkBethuel Mkhabela, African Volunteer (#SouthAfrica) shares:⠀
“It means a lot to me that people take time to invest into my life. When people invest in me and challenge me, it makes me aware of the areas that I need to grow in. Recently, when I was in #Swaziland doing #HolyHomeVisits, Dan Waspe, (#InternationalVolunteer - #UK) challenged me about the use of my phone. I was reminded that my phone can’t be on in a home visit In order to be present with people, I need to be fully engaged. Over the years, I have learned how to have more respect for people and it is easier to completely focus on the people that I am with. In the last year, my relationship with God has been growing and now I make time to pray and spend time reading my Bible.” ⠀
