I am racing through books and I'm loving it! I won't be able to keep it up forever of course but might as well make the most of it.
I really liked Notes on a Scandal. I had thought that it would be similar to Secret History so was mainly surprised to find that it was set in London and not New England. But I thought it was intriguing, funny, creepy.
Moving swiftly on to this collection of short stories from an author I've never heard of! It looks wonderfully bleak #amreading #newbookday

  • beki.travelsYou make me.want to read more! I've.been finishing the last of the girl with dragon tattoo books since like January I swear!
  • emdawgb@beki.travels I go through stages of barely reading for months then stages like this! Got a bit of time off work (and no money to do anything fun lol) which helps. If I find it hard to finish a book I abandon it and move on- sometimes feel a bit guilty but I find that otherwise I will just avoid reading altogether
  • ninae91#books are the best 🙂📖 I recommend Dawn French's funny fiction trilogy too...exceeded my expectations! P.s. notes on a scandal is indeed fabulous! Xx
