Recipe:
Fry onion, garlic and mushrooms (as many different types as you can find!) in a pan until softened. Mix in some sliced asparagus and fry for a couple of minutes. Stir in 1 heaped tbsp flour and mix well, then add in 1tbsp soy sauce and a dash of Worcestershire sauce. Cover with ale. Cook down the ale, then add a small amount of veg stock and simmer for 10-15 minutes, adding more veg stock each time it reduces down too thick. Once done, pour into a pie dish and top with puff pastry (Tip: JusRoll puff pastry in the UK is vegan).

Serve with wedges, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside 😍
